帰国生が自主的に結成した互助会「Stars」が、10月31日（火）English Lerning Centreにおいて、Halloween Partyを開催しました。以下は「Stars」の生徒達による報告です。

Junten Halloween Party 2023

Hi. I’m Sumire. I’m a huge fan of Taylor Swift so my friends call me Taylor. I’m one of the Vice-Presidents of STARS. Six years ago, I lived in Luxembourg for 18 months. My dream is to be a singer. After four long years of COVID restrictions we finally had a Halloween Party for the entire school body on October 31st. I will talk about the first part of the Halloween Party. For the first activity, we did a Halloween Quiz! If everyone could answer all the questions correctly and say the magic words (“Trick or Treat”), we could get some chocolate or candies. Everyone enjoyed it so much. Then we watched a scary movie called “Nightmare before Christmas” which is actually a Halloween movie. After that, we did the Pumpkin Bowling game. With a small pumpkin, students tried to bowl down 10 scary black ghost pins. We had 8 teams playing this game and team 3 were the grand champions. But someone broke the pumpkin during the game. It was a huge event and everyone laughed, but it was a great moment.​

Hello, my name is also Sumire but everybody calls me Smile! I’m the President of STARS. I’d like to live in the UK in the future. Regarding my international experience, I only went to Brisbane in Australia for 2 weeks this summer. Now, I will talk about the middle part of the HALLOWEEN PARTY. After pumpkin bowling, we did the “Mummy Making Contest”. All 8 teams created the most horrifying mummies by wrapping one member of their team with toilet paper using hats, sunglasses, and other items to make eerie mummies. Next, it was snack and drink time!! We enjoyed eating many kinds of sweets and rice crackers while drinking Coca-Cola! We spent a chilling time together. Then, we made a huge spooky spiderweb. By wrapping spools of multi-colored yarn around your body and then passing it onto your teammate to do the same, we managed to weave one huge spider web connecting 20-30 members of the party. At the end of making the spider web, our King just dived into it! We were all so surprised!

Nice to meet you! My name is Shuyu, the other V.P. of STARS but people call me the King. I will now explain the last part of our Halloween Party. In our last event, students could hunt down creepy paper spiders in the hallways and classrooms of building 3 and turn them in for more tricks and treats to add to their chocolate collection. There were also a lot of wonderful costumes at this year’s Halloween Party. The best ones were the Mario brothers – Mario and Luigi. Naruto’s costume was also amazing, sorry Mr. Pumpkin Man!!! Finally, I gave a closing speech to end the Halloween Party. It was a great party indeed!
