This is an annual event, held at Tokyo Voluntary Action Center, shads a light on the modern societal issues surrounding us and provides opportunities for students and public to think and discuss about them. The high school section meeting planned by high school students provided an opportunity for the students to know about each other’s activities and exchange opinions. The schools that gave a presentation about their activities are eight high schools: Tokyo Jogakkan High School, Taisei High School, Daigo Shogyo High School, Nerima High School, Minami Daira High School, Shinjuku Yamabuki High School, Junten and Youth Journalists Group.
Nearly 100 people came to the event, and each school gave a presentation on their daily activities and experience studying abroad. Three SGH delegates from Junten seemed to be a little nervous, but they were able to clearly deliver their thoughts, opinions on the trip to the Philippines.
After all the presentations were finished, students were divided into groups and further shared their thoughts. Students were asking questions and getting effective advice from other participants.
The journalist from High School Newspaper interviewed Junten students, the issue will be published on March 1st.
