Junten Junior High School / Senior High School

Since 1991, Junten Gakuen has been accepting young volunteers annually from the British NPO Project Trust. After graduating from high school in the UK, they have been studying Japanese language and Japanese culture and volunteering as English teaching assistants for a one-year Gap year. Adam and Zack have been working at Junten since last September. As COVID -19 spread, we received a return order from Project Trust so both Adam and Zack are scheduled to go home very soon.  It is still in the middle of their one-year term, so it is unfortunate that they have to leave now. Prior to their return to Japan, the school principal presented them with a certificate of completion and expressed gratitude for their activities.
