November 20th : Junten Students Visited Philippine Embassy
Four students and two Junten faculty members who took a field trip tour to the Philippines from September 25th to October 2nd visited Philippine Embassy.
First they introduced themselves, then they shared their experience traveling and studying in the Philippines.
The students who went to the Philippines this year are all 2nd Year Senior High School students. Their research projects include how the local people use banana leaves in stead of plastics, the difference in perception of “happiness” between Japan and the Philippines, educating local young people about scientific experiments by using website and comparison studies on disability education.
The students received advice from the embassy staff about their presentations. The embassy staff also asked a lot of questions. We all are very appreciated that Mr.J.Kenneth E. Bolante the Second Secretary and Consul stayed with the students even after the embassy closing hour.
