Former NHK Anchor Persons : Mr.Jun Hori to talk about “Message Delivering” and ” Sharing”.
On Monday October 15th, we invited a former NHK anchorperson, Mr.Jun Hori, for a SGH Core Member workshop. Mr.Hori shared the students about message delivering and sharing information. Mr.Hori runs the site called “８bitNews” which is a free-positing site.
In order to deliver the amount of “reality”, that mass communication can not even cover, Mr.Hori believes that it is necessary to not only sharing news, but also connecting people and their experiences.

In the workshop, Mr.Hori picked up the recent news that he was interested in and addressed the importance of information delivering in democracy. He also share that it is important to identify “opinions” and “realities” and to have the ability to recognize the difference.
Finally, the students gave their own thoughts on “peace” and learned that everyone has a different definition about “peace”. The students understood their own believes are necessary the same as other people and the importance of “delivering messages without misunderstanding.”
