Junten Junior High School / Senior High School

平成29年11月25日（土）On Saturday November 25th, Ms.Yume Sato of the 2nd Year Junten Senior High School participated in the Super Global High School (SGH) Nationwide High School Forum 2017 at Pacifico Yokohama (Kanagawa). The Forum is organized by MEXT and Tsukuba University and SGH Schools and SGH Associates attended it. 

The 1st Section had the Key Note Speech. “Global Personnel and How The Global Personnel can Prosper in the World”. Dr.Eriko Kawai from Kyoto University Graduate School gave a speech. Dr.Kawai shared interesting episodes about her own study abroad experience then concluded that “A global person needs expertise and communication skills” , 

The 2nd Part was the poster presentations. All the presentations were done in English. The students from 123 SGH and Associate Schools all gave a poster presentation. This is the first opportunity for all the 123 school’s students gathered and shared their learnings. Students looked nervous but many of them found new connections in different schools. Ms.Yume Sato researched on the Education in the Philippines. She interviewed and conducted questionnaires in the Philippines the presented her findings in her poster presentation.  

The 3rd Part had a panel discussion and the winner announcement. Unfortunately Ms.Sato was not selected in the final content but she had useful experience that she can use for her own research.
