Junten SGH Students Visited Philippine Embassy
On Wednesday November 29th, students who went to the Philippines on their SGH field trip visited the Philippine Embassy.
During the SGH field trip in the Philippines, students interviewed local people, conducted surveys and collected valuable information and data. TodaySecond Secretary and Consul Cultural Affairs, Ms. Kristine Margret Malang showed around the embassy and talked about education, employment, public hygiene and disaster management of the Philippines
Students shared what they learned and saw in the Philippines. Ms.Malang gave positive feedbacks on how much the SGJ students learned about her country. After students giving presentations, Ms.Malang took questions from each student and answered to them one by one. She also provided useful information and resource for their SGH research projects.
Ms.Malang was very happy that Junten students didn’t only study, but they also communicated and experienced the warmth of the local people in the Philippines. Ms.Malang told the students that she is looking forward to their next visit to the embassy and also for Junten students’ trip to the Phillipines next year.
