Based on the photos of Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand taken by Kyoto News, the contestants were asked to write short essays. Both Ms.Maekawa and Ms.Kitasaka traveled to Thailand last year on the school field trip, so they wrote about their experience and research projects on Thailand.

Unfortunately both two students could not attend the award ceremony, so Mr.Sakai, the Dean of Kanda University who provided a lecture at Junten Global Week, made a special arrangement for them and handed a prize recognition certificate.

Junten High School also received Honorable Mention Award from the university.  We are hoping that the students who will go to Thailand to try the context next year.
