2017 Junten Summer Trip Orientation for the PTA

“To Nurture Knowledgeable Young Global Leaders” is Junten’s long standing educational goal. Since the beginning of its international education program, Junten Gakuen has offered students study abroad opportunities. In order to keep parents informed about the goals for each trip, Junten provides a summer trip orientation for the PTA.

This year, Junten hosted two orientations. The one on Saturday, May 13th focused on the senior high school study abroad experience and the one on Saturday, June 10th focused on pursuing academia overseas. Junten invited lecturers from organizations experienced with senior high school study abroad tours.

Junten offers a variety of study abroad opportunities to our students. During the 3rd year of junior high school, students can take a short-trip to New Zealand. During senior high school, students can participate in a wide range of study abroad programs, with focuses ranging from cultural exchange, to language training, to scientific pursuits. There is also a trip to Australia that is financed by the Tokyo Private School Foundation. Another opportunity, The Tobitate Program, is offered by  the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

Junten will keep communicating with the parents of our students to share information about educational opportunities in different countries. Junten has decades of experience helping students expand their worldviews.
