Junten invited Dr.Ogawa from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Dr.Iijima from Saitama University, Dr.Makita from Gakushuin University and Dr.Akamine from Kyorin University. Junten also invited two Saitama University students who just came back from USA to Japan and Mr.Shinoda who works at the dean’s office at Gakushuin University.
Dr.Ogawa from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies has already worked with the Junten students. The group that has closely been working with Dr.Ogawa gave a presentation to address what they have learned from Dr.Ogawa and what they would like to do with the learned skills in the future. Students looked very nervous because they were not used to public speaking.

The students who were in the Dr.Akamine’s group were mostly students who research on an individual basis. Each student has a different research topic, and some of them are very similar to each other. Students who have similar topics sat down together but they exchanged information and knowledge.

The students with Dr.Iijima from Saitama University were having a very active discussion. Junten students had an opportunity to learn about the countries other than the Philippines and understood that there are a lot of countries in the world that are not developed. Different countries have different problems. Two university assistant teachers shared the difficulties they had in their research projects. This kind of information is very helpful for new researchers.
