Junten Junior High School / Senior High School

Saturday June 25^th, the students of Class 1 to 7, 1^st Year Senior High School gave presentations on their research concerning the Philippines. In May, Ms.Magno gave a lecture on the Philippines and Mr.Fujii gave lecture on research plan, based on what they learned from these two teachers, each student identified challenges that the country is facing and strategized how to address the challenges as their research projects.   

This presentation session was the first public speaking for them. Today, students were divided into small groups and each group’s leader gave a presentation about the groups’ findings.

The presentations were very given in a very relaxed atmosphere, so the presenters were able to share their experience without any problems. The presentation topics varied from poverty, education, society, media, sport to animals. The audience was listening to the presentations with great interests and they were taking notes and gave their opinions.

Finally one student representative gave the final presentation. She was a little nervous because she represents the entire class, but she completed the presentation wonderfully, using PC or projector and also using good gestures. The audience gave challenging questions, but she logically responded to them.
