Successfully Completed Global Week 2019
As part of the SGH activities at Junten Senior High School, Global Week 2019 was held for five days (October 28, 29, 30, 31, and 1) from Monday, October 28 to Friday, November 1, and was successfully completed.
During this period, regular classes were discontinued at 2:00 p.m., and researchers and graduate students from universities and colleges at home and abroad, university students, employees of companies and organizations, alumni and current students and parents of Junten High School, and students from neighboring schools came together with topics (called topics) they wanted to share with Junten High School students, (some third graders), parents, and faculty, and these topic providers and students and faculty had the opportunity to learn about global issues that have no right answers together.
Thanks to the cooperation of universities, colleges, universities and related organizations, we were able to have 78 topics over the five days of Global Week and share them with more than 1400 participants. We would like to thank all of you for your cooperation. In addition, current students and graduates of Junten High School, who have been practicing SGH activities since last year, participated as topic presenters. This year, several topics were planned by our students and coordinated with stakeholders to make it happen. This valuable learning opportunity provided an opportunity for the students who participated to get out of school and explore the world as a learning experience. We are very much looking forward to their future success.
